Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Cyber Dojo. By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

Cyber Dojo is operated from London, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@cyberdojo.app.

Your account

You need an account to use Cyber Dojo. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for anything done through your account.

One account is for one person. Please do not share it.

What you get

Cyber Dojo teaches cybersecurity through short lessons organised into paths. The first ten lessons on any path are free. Everything after that requires a subscription.

We add and improve lessons over time. We may also change, reorganise or remove content — including content you have already completed — where it becomes outdated or inaccurate. Your completed-lesson record and XP are not affected by this.

Subscriptions

Cyber Dojo Pro is available monthly or annually. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

If you are a UK or EU consumer you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. That right is lost once you begin accessing the content, which you do as soon as your subscription starts. Your statutory rights are not otherwise affected.

What the app is, and what it is not

Cyber Dojo is educational. It is not professional advice, and it is not a certification.

Completing a path does not qualify you for any role and is not a substitute for a recognised certification, a qualification or professional experience. We do not guarantee any outcome, including employment.

Some lessons describe how attacks work, because understanding attacks is part of defending against them. This is for education only. You must not use anything learned in Cyber Dojo to access, test or interfere with any system you do not own or have explicit written permission to test. Doing so is a criminal offence in the UK under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and is illegal in most other countries.

What you may not do

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Our content

All lessons, text, graphics and code in Cyber Dojo belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while it lasts. It does not transfer ownership of anything.

Availability

We try to keep Cyber Dojo available and working, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend the service for maintenance, and we may stop offering it entirely — in which case we will give reasonable notice and will not charge you for a period you cannot use.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cyber Dojo after that means you accept the new terms.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using Cyber Dojo at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@cyberdojo.app. Cancelling your subscription is separate and is done through Apple.

We may end this agreement if you break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
